Wristbands for this event are $10 and can be purchased until midnight on March 29, 2019 on the DC Illini website.
NOTE: A wristband is required to participate in this event. A wristband entitles you to reduced beer prices (while supplies last). If you’re unable to purchase a wristband prior to the event, please bring cash to the event to purchase. A majority of the proceeds go towards supporting the D.C. Japanese Stone Lantern Lighting Ceremony (Free event). Join the National Conference of State Societies (NCS) and the National Park Service for the traditional lighting of the Japanese Stone Lantern at the Tidal Basin, located amongst the Cherry Blossom trees. The Lantern is only lit once a year during the National Cherry Blossom Festival.

NCSS Cherry Blossom Grand Ball and Sushi Reception. The signature event where we celebrate the 2018 Cherry Blossom Queen and crown the 2019 U.S. Cherry Blossom Queen. Ticket includes a Sushi Reception, dinner, drinks, and dancing. Sushi Reception at 6:00 p.m.; Ball begins at 7:30 p.m.
