Ryan Gleason was born and raised in DuPage County and is a graduate on the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, majoring in Economics and Political Science, while minoring International Development Economics. Mr. Gleason began his career in Washington, D.C., working for Governor Bruce Rauner in his Federal Affairs shop and has worked on a number of campaigns, most recently successfully serving as the Director of Targeting for a Missouri gubernatorial campaign. Mr. Gleason has been a board member of the Society for over two years, first serving as the Governor’s Office Liaison and then as an At-Large member.
Currently, Mr. Gleason works for a state governmental affairs consulting firm, working on behalf of clients on matters relating from tobacco, chemicals, waste, environmental, labor and water-related issues. Mr. Gleason is a huge White Sox fan, and in his free time, he enjoys a round of golf, catching a baseball game, and traveling.
