Kate Howard

Ms. Howard is an international development consultant. Her clients include the Department of State, the UN World Food Program, not-for-profits, and private sector companies. Ms. Howard began her career on Capitol Hill as a staff member on the Senate Agriculture Committee and in the office of Senator Alan Dixon. She held appointments in the Clinton Administration at the Departments of State and Agriculture. Ms. Howard’s consulting work includes assignments in the US, Africa, Caribbean, and Central and South Asia including multiple assignments in Afghanistan. Most recently she mentored and trained on resource mobilization, organizational development, board governance, and proposal development. Ms. Howard is experienced in election monitoring, political campaigns and event management. She served on not-for-profit boards and she attended Georgetown University Law Center, Fletcher, Mount Holyoke College and Springfield College in Illinois.
